We recognise that the provision of our courier services have an impact on the environment and as a result we have implemented a comprehensive environmental programme in order to minimise that impact.
Our environmental programme covers all areas of our business and offers you a range of more sustainable delivery options to help you reduce your carbon footprint.
We are always looking for new vehicles which are environmentally friendly and commercially viable.

- Alternative fuel vehicles
We are a non-asset owning company and as such are able to introduce new environmentally friendly vehicles into our fleet the moment they become available.
Environmental Analysis and Reports
We can provide analysis and reports detailing the carbon produced by your courier deliveries, and help you find ways to reduce this by recommending alternatives.
Reports available include:
- Carbon Calculator - This report shows the amount of CO2 emissions that are produced by a company using CitySprint’s courier services
- Carbon Optimiser - This report shows how by simply changing some of the vehicles used to undertake courier work, to more environmentally friendly ones, the client can reduce the amount of negative emissions and improve their carbon footprint.
Carbon Offset Programme
Our Carbon Offset Programme gives clients the choice to have a retrospective surcharge applied to those jobs that do use a carbon producing vehicle, and in doing so create an Environmental Support Fund (ESF). Any monies generated in the ESF are then invested in one of the following offset programmes:
- Carbon Offset companies
- Sustainable Development Projects
- Energy Efficient Projects
- CitySprint Investment
- Client Preferred Programme
