CitySprint shows its support for the Royal British Legion

CitySprint has donated £1,960 to The Royal British Legion as part of a donation scheme it launched at the end of 2009.
CitySprint is the UK's largest privately owned SameDay Distribution company and is the preferred supplier for the Ministry of Defence. For every job that CitySprint undertakes on behalf of the MoD, a donation is made to a selected Forces charity. Charities are selected on a quarterly basis with input from both the MoD and CitySprint.

The Royal British Legion provides welfare to the whole Armed Forces family - serving, ex-Service and their dependants. It also campaigns on a range of issues affecting Service people and runs the annual Poppy Appeal.

CitySprint's National Business Development Manager, Nigel Cattermole presented the donation to Graham Ferris, Regional Fundraising Manager for The Royal British Legion on Wednesday 13th April at CitySprint's London ServiceCentre.

Graham commented: "We are delighted to be the chosen forces charity to benefit from CitySprint's fantastic donation scheme and receive £1,960 towards our work. During this momentous year, the Legion aims to raise £90 million to provide vital welfare and support to current and ex-Service personnel and their families. We are incredibly grateful to all of our supporters and would like to formally thank CitySprint for their support".
